As a Kelley Brothers HVAC technician, my day begins bright and early at 6:30 AM. After a quick breakfast and coffee, I’m out the door by 7:15, ready to tackle whatever cooling challenges await me in the Metro Detroit area.
First Stop: AC Repair in Westland, MI
My first call of the day takes me to Westland, where a family is dealing with a malfunctioning air conditioner. Upon arrival, I quickly diagnose the issue: a faulty capacitor. Within an hour, I’ve replaced the part and their system is running smoothly again.
Mid-Morning: Air Conditioning Installation in Livonia, MI
Next up is a new installation in Livonia. The homeowners have decided to upgrade their old system to a more energy-efficient model. This job takes a bit longer, but by lunchtime, I’ve got their new AC unit up and running.
Afternoon: Multiple Service Calls
After a quick lunch break, my afternoon looks like this:

- Minor repairs in Dearborn Heights, MI
Evening: Emergency Call in Inkster, MI
Just as I’m wrapping up for the day, I get an emergency call from Inkster. A family’s AC has completely shut down during a heatwave. I head over immediately and work into the evening to get their system back online.
Wrapping Up: The Satisfaction of a Job Well Done
As I drive home around 8 PM, I feel a sense of accomplishment. It’s been a long day, but knowing I’ve helped keep my neighbors comfortable makes it all worthwhile. Tomorrow, I’ll do it all again, proud to represent Kelley Brothers and serve our community’s HVAC needs.
